What does it mean when no pick is published?
No published pick means there is no selection available on that surface. It does not, by itself, prove that a model evaluated every possibility and rejected them all. Check the stated status: an empty supported board, unavailable data and an unsupported market are different situations.
Read the status before interpreting the blank
An empty result can have more than one cause. A source may be unavailable, a game may fall outside the current coverage, or no selection may meet the applicable publication rules. The page must tell you which explanation it can support.
Do not treat a loading state or a failed request as a completed evaluation. When a source cannot be read, the appropriate conclusion is that the information is unavailable.
Missing evidence is not a negative forecast
A missing player, market or price cannot safely be turned into a forecast against that selection. Absence of a published record does not tell you the model’s opinion about every unlisted option.
Likewise, no listed pick does not imply that a sport is permanently unsupported. Check the current coverage and stated limitation instead of inferring it from a single visit.
A market can be visible while no pick is published
Some markets are carried as research only. Rushing yards and receptions appear with their lines and books when captured, and the model reads Not published against them. That is the intended state, not a gap: the market is there to read, and Tikata has published no selection in it.
Those two run as paper markets. Paper picks are locked, graded and recorded privately, and none of them is ever shown, counted or published. Receptions is a count of catches and is a different market from receiving yards, which is published. Read the market name exactly rather than the word it resembles.
Promotion from paper to published takes three separate things, and none of them is a wording change: the founder decides on the recorded rule, the upstream export stops marking that market’s rows as paper, and the market is added to the published list the site reads. Until all three have happened, nothing in that market is a published pick, whatever else is visible.
How to read Tikata’s board
Tikata’s current board distinguishes unavailable source data from the picks it can display. The methodology describes the published model scope; a sport tab alone is not proof that picks exist for that sport.
If an explanation is absent, leave the cause unknown. Do not substitute a fictional pick or interpret missing evidence as a measured result. These guides carry no live schedule or promise of a pick for a particular game.
